Served in Saint George Church, in Manshiat-El-Tahrir, Gesr El-Suez, Cairo, Egypt, since he was ordained priest.
Came to Raleigh, North Carolina, to serve in Saint Mary Coptic Orthodox Church on October 25th, 1996.
Fr. Michael Hanna
Fady Magdy Hanna was born in Alexandria, Egypt in 1990 as the youngest of three children.
Immigrated to the united States with his family in 1996, and grew up in Saint Mark Church of Boston, MA.
Worked for ten years with various law firms, politicians and judges in the greater Boston area.
Received an A.B. in Psychology and Philosophy, and a J.D. from Law school.
He moved to NC in 2015 to complete an M.T.S (Master of Theological Studies) at Duke University and to teach at Holy Youth Christian Academy in Chapel Hill.
Resided in Southeast Durham with his wife Maria and new born daughter Sarah.
Ordained a full Deacon on August 5th, 2018 by H.G.B. Peter at Archangel Michael and Saint Misael the Anchorite Church in Raleigh, NC.
Ordained a priest on November 4th, 2018 by H.G.B. Peter, H.G.B. Youssef, and H.G.B. Karas at Saint Mary Coptic Church in Raleigh, NC
